Activities
Large Carnivore Encounter
On our neighboring property one of our guides will escort you to meet all our carnivorous friends. All the animals at the facility have been placed in our care due to unavoidable circumstances. Most of them were caught by farmers as problem animals catching livestock. Once caught, the farmers have two choices, they either have the animal put down, or they can send them to a facility where they can be kept and cared for, for the rest of their natural lives. Some of the animals were captured as baby animals and then brought to us when the owners realized they cannot care for an animal that in essence will always remain a wild predator. Amongst the furry friends you will meet are caracals, cheetah, leopard and brown hyena.
Sossusvlei excursion
Situated in the oldest desert in the world, Sossusvlei can truly be called the gem of the Namib. Sporting some of the highest dunes in the world, incredible scenery and amazing wildlife, this is a destination not to be missed. By prior arrangement we can take you to visit Sossusvlei. During your visit you can enjoy climbing the huge dunes and walking to Dead Vlei for breathtaking scenery. Brunch is served in the dunes to replenish you after your desert adventure. Be sure to take your camera.
Game Drive
We Kebi is situated on a vast area of land with many different species of fauna and flora. The game drive is either early mornings or late afternoons when the chances of game sightings are best. Although our guides take all effort to see as many animals as possible, we cannot guarantee how many of the game species you will be privileged enough to see. Nature remains our most unpredictable joy!
Scenic Flights
A great way to take in the amazing scenery at We Kebi and the surrounding area is to take a scenic flight in a light aircraft. Flights are available on request and need to be arranged well in advance. There is a dirt airstrip a few minutes’ drive from We-Kebi to facilitate these flights.
Sundowners
Enjoy a couple of drinks as the sun goes down to experience the magnificent African sunsets. We will drive you to a sundowner vista to bring your fun filled day to a relaxing end.
4 X 4 Trails
Join us for an exciting off-road 4×4 experience. We’ll take you off-roading up one of the nearby mountains where you can enjoy the panorama views of the Namib Desert.
