Information
The exclusive Qorokwe Concession encompasses over 26 000 hectares (over 64 000 acres) in a high-density game area of the south-eastern Okavango, bordering the renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Exploring Qorokwe reveals a world of diverse Delta habitats supporting a wealth of wildlife .
The name Qorokwe means “the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water” evoking the high-density game area in which this camp is situated. It owes its productivity to a mix of habitat types that lie between its western and eastern borders: the Santantadibe and Gomoti Channels respectively.

Qorokwe Camp – Night Drives
Night drives with spotlights allow you to find those nocturnal animals you wouldn’t see during the day.
Qorokwe Camp – Birding
The birdlife is excellent and varies throughout the year, depending on water levels and season. They include African hawk-eagle, ground hornbill, scarlet-chested sunbird, red-billed hornbill, gabar goshawk and red-billed francolin.
Qorokwe Camp – Guided Nature Walks
Walking safaris with skilled guides offers you the exciting opportunity of coming across big game on foot as well as observing the smaller things you miss when traveling by vehicle. (on request and seasonal – during the transition of March to June, flora in the area flourishes, giving predators ample coverage and making walking conditions unfavorable)
Qorokwe Camp – Boating
Seasonal boating excursions allow you to explore the more distant waterways, and the deep clear channels.
