Information
Situated just to the north of DumaTau on the same lagoon frontage, is a haven of sophisticated elegance. With just four supremely spacious guest suites, each with its own lounge, private plunge pool, and bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, this intimate camp promises an exceptional Linyanti safari experience.
Named for Scandinavian royalty, Kings Pool overlooks the handsome oxbow-shaped Kings Pool Lagoon in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve bordering Chobe National Park. This plush camp is located on the private Linyanti Game Reserve – one of the most pristine and least-visited areas in all of Botswana where you have exclusive access to three million hectares of untrammeled wilderness that includes the incredible Savute Channel.
The unsurpassed accommodation overlooks the Lagoon and the Linyanti River where game thrives and predators such as lions, African wild dogs and hyenas are spotted regularly. With two-thirds of the channel falling within the reserve and Namibia’s Caprivi Strip just across the river, this bountiful area offers discerning travellers a slice of Africa at her best.
DumaTau boasts over 45km of river frontage in the concession which means unrivalled wildlife sightings in this pristine habitat. The Linyanti Wildlife Reserve is known for healthy populations of roan and sable, a range of prey species resulting in diversity of predators while the mopane woodland creates a habitat for those such as wild dog
