Birds Of Eden
Situated in the Crags is a unique two hectare dome (the World's largest) that spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. The developers have created a safe environment in which to release a large collection of free-flight African birds, miniature monkeys and the sanctuary also enables bird owners to apply to release their pet birds into the sanctuary, after undergoing rehabilitation.
This is the worlds first free roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary.
Ocean Blue Adventures
Ocean Blue is a licensed SABBWWA permit holder. This enables them to approach whales from 50 metres. Should the whales approach our vessel we do not have to move away. This gives you an up close experience with these majestic mammals in the bay. In summer you have a great chance to see the rare Humpback Dolphins found in only certain areas of the South African coastline! You will also see Bottlenose Dolphins and Common Dolphin. As well going to the Robberg Seal Colony (home to +- 5000 seals) and other marine life of the day. And in winter you have a very high likelihood of seeing Southern Right and Humpback whales.
Is a rehabilitation and awareness centre that aims at community awareness, and the rescue, rehabilitation and release of birds of prey. A variety of trained non-releasable birds of prey are free flown around, which gives you an opportunity to photograph these magnificent birds in natural surroundings. There is also an opportunity to hold some of the birds during the display. Gloves are provided for this purpose.
Tenikwa Cat Santuary
Is located in the Crags area outside Plettenberg Bay. You will be impressed by the environmental commitment of Tenikwa, the friendliness of their staff and the way in which Tenikwa's passion for conservation shines through. A variety of indigenous birds, such as Blue Cranes, Marabou Storks and waterfowls frequent the gardens of Tenikwa, the extent of which covers some 8ha with the balance of the 46ha set aside for the wild animals occurring in the area. Either go on an organised tour to learn about the different cats, or there is an amazing opportunity to do a dawn or sunset walk with the Cheetahs.

The Elephant Sanctuary is unique in that it offers visitors the incredible opportunity to walk hand-in-trunk with the elephants. Enter the world of the Elephant with Elephant Back Riding. Bare-back Elephant Back Riding enables us as humans to feel the power and bulk of an elephant in contrast with the quietness, delicateness and grace of these mammoth creatures' movement as they walk/glide across the ground. Understand the height at which an elephant stands and experience their environment from an elephant's perspective.
Knysna Elephant Park - guests get to see the sleeping quarters of the elephants as well as feeding and touching experience.
Hog Hollow Horse Trails
What a wonderful way to see the Tsitsikamma, on horseback... Choose between a one hour farm trail with views over the mountains and forest, or a two hour forest trail amongst wildlife on a private nature reserve, or a three hour Cruise The Crags Trail.
Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve
The largest game reserve in the Southern Cape, with more than 2,200ha spread out across the hills above the scenic Garden Route coastline. With its breath-taking views across Plett, abundant wildlife, it offers an exciting child-friendly safari experience in a non-malaria area with an excellent chance of spotting three of Africa's Big Five - Buffalo, Lion and Rhino. Over 35 species of game, including Lion, Rhino, Giraffe, Hippo, Crocodiles, Buffalo and a large variety of Antelope roam free in their natural habitat which is also home to more than 101 different bird species. It is the biggest sanctuary in the area for the endangered white rhino
